Terms & Conditions of Use

Before proceeding with your booking please read the Terms and Conditions of Sale carefully. These booking conditions incorporate the basis upon which bookings are accepted by BigPond Tickets (managed by Showbiz International) and affiliated programs (hereinafter referred to as BigPond Tickets).

No Cancellations, Exchanges or Refunds
Once confirmed, bookings may not be cancelled, exchanged or refunded except as required by law and as otherwise specified by the seller. If a refund is made, BigPond Tickets may, to the extent permitted by law, retain any fee it has charged. Bookings are confirmed when full payment is received.

No Reselling
This ticket and/or package must not be resold or offered for resale at a premium (including via online auction sites) or used for advertising, promoting or other commercial purposes (including competitions or trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods an services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is sold in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission.

TBA(To Be Allocated) Seating
The specific seating arrangement for this event has not been yet confirmed by the presenter.

BigPond Tickets guarantees that if you purchase these seats online, you will receive seats for whichever seat category you choose to purchase. For example, if you purchase Gold seating, we guarantee you will be seated in the Gold section.

Specific seat locations will be finalised closer to the event and will be confirmed on your ticket(s).

Tickets Collection & Dispatch
Tickets, vouchers and booking documents to be sent by Post will be received 10-21 days out from the performance. Tickets, vouchers and booking documents to be collected from the Box Office will be available for collection from 2 hours prior to the performance.

Event Changes
Information, cast and event dates are subject to change. BigPond Tickets is not responsible for any cancellation or rescheduling of events or for changes in the programme or performers.

In the case of an event itself being cancelled or postponed you will be refunded the amount paid in full, less any service and handling fees. BigPond Tickets reserves the right to retain any service fees and charges incurred on procuring hotel, hospitality and transfers arrangements including but not limited to deposits paid and forfeited.  Booking transaction fees are non-refundable.

However, if an event is cancelled or postponed after it has commenced, ticket holders will not have the right to exchange or receive a refund on tickets or packaged elements (hotel, hospitality and transfers).

Full Payment Amounts to Confirmation
Upon acceptance of the booking, the booking must be paid for in full immediately. Once a booking has been paid in full it is deemed confirmed, after which tickets and packages cannot be exchanged, cancelled or refunded.

GST
All prices quoted are inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax (GST). In event of the rate of GST being increased between the acceptance of a booking and an event the client shall be liable to pay such increase before tickets are issued.

Pricing Policy and guarantee
BigPond Tickets offers a 100% buyer guarantee for all ticket bookings. 

When you complete your purchase and receive your BigPond Tickets purchase confirmation email from us, we offer a money back guarantee that;


  • Your ticket(s) and any associated package products are 100% authentic. All BigPond Tickets tickets and packages are acquired and/or developed with the full approval of the event promoter/producer, and where required, under duly authorised commercial supply arrangements with ticket agents and/or venues.


  • You'll receive your tickets vouchers or documents for your confirmed purchase well before the date and time of your chosen event.  

    If tickets are purchased within 30 days of the performance, tickets will need to be collected at the Show's box office up to two hours before the start of the performance


  • Selected seats in any single transaction will be located side-by-side unless stated otherwise.


  • BigPond Tickets will advise of any limitations, restrictions, or special conditions relating to the event and will disclose all the information available regarding the specific seats or seating area for a given performance during the ticket booking. 


  • In the event that specific seat selection has not been confirmed at the time of your booking , BigPond Tickets will still guarantee that you will receive seats for whichever seat category you choose to purchase and will let you know prior to purchase by displaying TBA(To Be Allocated) in the seating allocation.  For example, if you purchase Gold seating, we guarantee you will be seated in the Gold section.  Specific seat locations will be finalised closer to the event and will be confirmed on your ticket(s). 

  • BigPond Tickets' ticketing services strictly abide by the "Code of Practice for the Ticketing of Live Entertainment in Australia" defined by the industry regulatory association, Live Performance Australia. BigPond Tickets is a participating and active member of Live Performance Australia and is committed to the development of the Australian live performance industry.

If we have not met any of the above conditions in our guarantee, please let us know immediately so that we can arrange a refund.

All stated and package prices are inclusive of GST. BigPond Tickets's advertised ticket and package prices include the base supply cost of the ticket/s, plus any premium and/or pre-sale access fees and ticket agent or service fees levied by the supplier/s and charged to BigPond Tickets to secure allocations, plus a BigPond Tickets service fee of not more than 15% of the total supply price.

Any ticket fees and charges above the face value printed on tickets reflects the cost of obtaining seating, and includes fees charged for securing premium or VIP seating, and/or pre-sale access and is based on market demand, and seat availability and location on the available date on offer. BigPond Tickets at all times uses its best endeavours to ensure the supply price of the tickets is a fair market rate relative to the quality seating allocations we secure from promoters and producers.

This pricing policy and guarantee apply to all bookings completed through BigPond Tickets website and/or through our 1 300 654 541 Call Centre.

Packages Product Information Disclaimer
Hotel, restaurant and other third party hospitality product descriptions are based on current hotel guides and contractual agreements provided by hotels and suppliers. Any facilities shown as included are subject to change at any time. The standards of accommodation and other services are based on various factors, which are generally accepted as indicative of a certain class; however we do not represent or guarantee the standard, class or fitness for purpose of that accommodation or service.

Hotel / Restaurant Cancellation Fees
Hotel / Restaurant cancellation fees will apply and are determined on a case by case basis and are subject to agreements between BigPond Tickets and the hotel management. In the case of an event being cancelled or re-scheduled the monies paid for the accommodation component of the package is non-refundable.

Hotel Check in/out
Generally hotel check-in is 3pm and most hotels expect departing guests to vacate rooms by 10am on the date of departure to allow for cleaning and maid service.

Travel Insurance
Where accommodation and/or travel arrangements are included in your booking we strongly recommend that you purchase a comprehensive travel insurance policy.

Lost Tickets
When allocated seating tickets are lost or stolen the Customer must be able to produce proof of their original purchase prior to a Lost Ticket Voucher being issued. Replacement of lost tickets is subject to the venue and or ticket agents lost ticket replacement terms and conditions. BigPond Tickets reserves the right to charge an administration fee if a lost ticket voucher needs to be issued.

BigPond Tickets reserves the right not to replace tickets where seating is not allocated (general admission).

Responsibility Agent
BigPond Tickets agrees to offer its services to the Customer as a purveyor of hotel rooms, restaurant reservations, leisure activity, ground transportation, hospitality and event ticketing to theatre, concert and sporting events. BigPond Tickets is acting as an intermediary and or agent for suppliers in selling event services or in accepting reservations or booking for event services which are not directly supplied by BigPond Tickets.

Independent Contractors
Services provided in conjunction with these events are rendered by suppliers acting as independent contractors and not as agents or employees of BigPond Tickets. BigPond Tickets therefore shall not be responsible for breach of contract for any intentional or careless actions or omissions on the part of such suppliers, which result in any loss, damage, delay or injury to the Customer or Customers travel companions.

Third Party Information
BigPond Tickets has/have utilised information provided by third party companies and all attempts have been made to ensure the accuracy of this information. Alterations and amendments can occur. BigPond Tickets cannot be held responsible.

Accepts No Liability for Acts by Others outside of Direct Control
BigPond Tickets finalises all arrangements upon the express condition that it shall not be liable, apart from non-excludable liability, for any injury, death, damage, loss, accident, delays, generally or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of any defect in any venue, or vehicle or through the acts of omission, default whether negligent or otherwise, of companies or persons engaged in connection with your booking pursuant to a contract between them and yourselves and over whom we have no direct and exclusive control.

Accepts No Liability for others Acts which are Not Preventable
We do not accept liability in contract or in tort (actionable wrong) of any injury, damage, loss, delay, additional expenses or inconvenience caused directly or indirectly by force majeure or other events which are beyond our control or which are not preventable by reasonable diligence on our part including but not limited to war, civil disturbance, fire, floods, unusually severe weather, acts of God, acts of Government or of any other authorities, accidents to or failure of machinery or equipment or industrial action (whether or not involving our employees and even though such action may be settled by acceding to the demands of a labour group).

Any reference to specific events herein is made only for clear identification and reference of potential purchases by customers of BigPond Tickets and reference to an event is not intended to imply nor should it be understood or assumed that BigPond Tickets is endorsed by, sponsored by, approved by or otherwise affiliated with the organisers and/or sponsors of the events herein.

Unenforceable
If any part of this agreement is held to be unenforceable, the unenforceable part must be given effect to the greatest extent possible and the remainder will remain in full force and effect. This agreement is governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales, Australia.

Law & Construction
The contract of these terms of use shall be governed by the law of the State of New South Wales and BigPond Tickets and the client hereby submits to the exclusive jurisdiction the law of the State of New South Wales Courts in all matters regarding the contracts and these Terms of Use. All prices are subject to change should State or Federal Governments introduce a tax of any kind on our products.
